I have enjoyed the feeling of making a film since I was a child. I had immense joy when I was creating stop-motion Lego videos or comedy thrillers with my friends. With fascination, I observed how single takes transformed into a story. It was at this early stage my dedication for directing developed. 

I love this craft because when I'm doing it I get fully absorbed into the process. I relish translating stories into vital pictures; therefore collaborating with many other creatives. When I get excited about something, everything falls into place: I type scripts, essays, and considerations for the particular departments; I draw storyboards and I experiment. I immerse fully into a project, up until the moment it is done. 

Besides my occupation as a director, I write, draw, play the piano, spinet and the organ. I usually get inspired by my life experiences. It can be a piece of dialogue, I encounter by chance, or something that happens to me personally. If I write, I appear in a world beyond words; I'm just on the spot, taking notes.
